The download package contains ACARS Analyser, Acars DM - to act as the DDE client, a Help File and database filled with Aircraft, Airport and Airline abbreviations. The first time you run ACARS Analyser it will ask you to set it up. You can run Acars DM from there as well to begin logging.

ACARS Analyser has been tested on a P4-2.8 with 1 Gig of RAM with great results. At the other end it has been tested on a Windows 95 machine with 16 megs of RAM. It ran as it should but, as you can imagine it is very slow. The Win 95 install required MDAC to be loaded first. See below

ACARS Analyser is now free to use. Version 3.2 and onward do not require registration.

Please send bug reports to info@acarsanalyser.com. Currently ACARS Analyser can analyse data from SkySpy, WACARS, AirNav, Acarsd, PCHFDL, PosFix and Airmaster 2000 through the DDE client, AcarsDM. Acars Analyser can also import from the SkySpy Database, or from the above programs' log files and also from WACARS and WiNRADiO. Almost any ACARS data can be incorporated, send a few days data to the above email address and it will be added.

MDAC

If your running Win95, Win98 (before ME) or WinNT 4.0 you will also need to download MDAC, Microsoft's (Microsoft Data Access Components). Because ACARS Analyser uses some heavy data processing you will need to get access to all the required DLL's. The total file size is about 7.5 Megs.
